Data Deletion Policy

At Musey, we respect your right to control your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request deletion of their account and personal information collected by the Musey mobile app.

1. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time in one of the following ways:
  • In-App Request
    • Open the Musey app
    • Go to Settings > Account > Delete My Account
    • Confirm your request
  • Email Request
    You may also request deletion by contacting us at support@musey.app. Please use the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your Musey account.

    We will respond to verified requests within 30 days, as required by law.

2. What Will Be Deleted

Once your deletion request is confirmed, we will:
  • Permanently delete your user account
  • Remove all personally identifiable information (name, email, device ID)
  • Delete or anonymize your user-generated content (entries, lists, photos, etc.)
  • Delete usage data associated with your account where legally required
Note: In some cases, we may retain limited data for legal, compliance, or fraud prevention purposes, as allowed by law.

3. Third-Party Services

Once your account is deleted:
  • You will no longer be able to access the app using that account
  • Any content you’ve shared with other users may no longer be visible
  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
